Campus Advocacy Coordinators
Campus Advocacy Coordinators (CACs) are the liaisons designated by each college to support and lead legislative advocacy efforts on their individual college campuses. CACs are designated by the college president, and work directly with OCCA to make sure advocacy messages are consistent statewide. They recruit students, faculty, staff, board members, and community/industry stakeholders to advocate on behalf of community colleges, testify in front of the legislator or in written testimony, contact legislators and more. 2027 CAC and OCCMPR Retreats & Summer Meeting
Two days, two retreats! Join us at Chemeketa Community College in Salem for the 2027 Campus Advocacy Coordinators (CAC) Retreat and Oregon Community College Marketing & Public Relations (OCCMPR) Retreat/Annual Meeting. The CAC Retreat will be held Wednesday, July 21, followed by the OCCMPR Retreat/Annual Meeting on Thusday, July 22. Participants are welcome to attend one or both days.
