June 10 – The Oregon Community College Association (OCCA) congratulates the thousands of students graduating from Oregon’s 17 community colleges this spring. Statewide, approximately 13,500 students will earn associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, certificates, and other credentials during the 2025-26 academic year.
Graduation represents more than the completion of a program. For many students, it reflects years of perseverance, determination, and sacrifice while balancing work, family responsibilities, financial challenges, and other commitments. These graduates are preparing to enter Oregon’s workforce, transfer to four-year institutions, launch new careers, and contribute to the strength and vitality of their communities.
“The Class of 2026 represents the very best of Oregon’s community colleges,” said OCCA Executive Director Dr. Abby Lee. “These students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, often overcoming significant obstacles along the way. Their achievements are a testament to their resilience, determination, and commitment to building brighter futures for themselves, their families, and the communities they call home. We are proud to celebrate all they have accomplished.”
OCCA also extends its appreciation to the faculty, staff, administrators, and board members at Oregon’s community colleges whose dedication, mentorship, and support help students achieve their educational goals. Their commitment plays a vital role in student success and in strengthening opportunities for Oregonians across the state.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026.
